These images were made at dusk / sunset on Jan 4th & 6th at the Pier in Huntington Beach, CA. A unique set of conditions made for a great photo opp. Santa Ana winds were blowing off shore along with an extreme low tide. In many of the images, Catalina Island, (26 miles off the coast) is easily visible. In a few images, San Clemente Island, (50 miles off the coast) is just barely visible to the left of Catalina. All of the images except were taken as three exposure HDR’s. Post processing produces the different looks.
